Problem

Citifin – Citibank needed to:

  • Speed up and streamline the management of internal loan requests
Solution

CITIFIN decided to adopt GDD-GDP technology to manage internal loan requests:

  • From the receipt of applications via fax
  • To confirmation of the loan

The solution consists of / Sservices enabled:

  • Software for client PCs
  • 2 redundant Open Channel units (for fax transmission) installed in two separate office blocks in Milan

Both the software and hardware components were subject to strict security requirements imposed by CITIBANK group internal policies and obtained the relevant conformity certificates.

  • Photocopy-less document sharing between colleagues: reduction of paper use and working times; quick sure searches
  • Automatic completion of documents to be sent to customers by reading data from the management software
  • Reduction in the number of daily sheets of paper sent to safe storage facilities, from 30 feet to a few kilos with only signed contracts (other documents are digitally archived in the GDD-GDP Technology)
  • Preparation times for the monthly report for the headquarters down to a few minutes from 3 days: the report is automatically prepared by the GDD-GDP application
